The Chemical Brothers - Brotherhood (EMI Music Canada)

A17

Of all the bands that gained notoriety during the short-lived electronica fad of the late '90s, it seems as though The Chemical Brothers are one of the few acts still regularly releasing new music. Although there are some songs carried over from the 2003 compilation Singles 93-03, Brotherhood is a terrific retrospective on the influential English duo. Brotherhood includes the group's hits such as Block Rockin' Beats, Let Forever Be and Setting Sun while also visiting other essential tracks such as Galvanize (featuring vocals by A Tribe Called Quest's Q-Tip) and Believe (with Kele Okereke from Bloc Party).

Some might be bored with the repetitive nature of this type of music however I've consistently enjoyed these guys and have found they bring a little something different to the table that allows them to stand out from their peers. When it comes to club music, nobody does it better than The Chemical Brothers.
